Our team comes from distant places on the globe. This brings diversity and fresh perspectives to the Vygotskian theory that we are presenting here.

Currently designing courses and teaching at a university in Seoul, Korea, and thrilled to be more than half way through the UBC MET Program! Before heading overseas, I was a G1-12 Special Education and high school English teacher. It was the Special Education experience that got me interested in Educational Technology, which led to the MET Program, which led to Sociocultural Constructivism.  Awesome!

I teach Individuals and Societies in the IB Middle Years Program at a school in Vancouver, BC. Collaboration and experiences drive our learning so I jumped on board the Vygotsky train.

I teach several subjects, Grades 10-12, in an alternate program for young parents in Abbotsford, BC. In my work, there’s access to technology and a lot of freedom to try new ideas, so I’ve been on the hunt for strategies that work. Vygotsky’s ideas are powerful and practical, so please take your time browsing through this site and leave comments if you’d like to interact with us.
